    Halmstad – Varberg   1   2.00

In the 11`th round of the Allsvenskan, Halmstad and Varberg meet in a derby match. The form is definitely with the home side which hasn`t lost in 2 months but they also haven`t won many. Only 2 wins this season is way too little and now is the chance to improve that aspect. Halmstad is the new team in the league but they are very hard to beat. They put on a great defensive block but it costs them offensively. Upfront, they are dependent on the power of Antonsson who has 5 goals so far. Halmstad has had a few good matches after the break and they took draws against the strong Djurgarden and Hammarby. It will give them a boost but they miss an important midfielder Allansson. Varberg is their second season here but they struggle this time around. They sold some key players and the quality just isn`t there. They especially hurt on the defensive and they have conceded 2 goals per match so far. The form is bad with 1-1-4 and especially away with 0-0-3. They will also miss 3 key players like Simovic, Birkfeldt, and Winbo while Moon is rated a doubt. I believe that Halmstad can take this today.

    Rapid – Chindia   2 ah0

A lot of fuss around the first game of Rapid after a break of six years while they struggled in the mediocrity of second league. They did some transfers considered important by the club by they need to be included in the first team little by little. Rapid had always strong support from the fans but this is going both ways cause this always has been an extra pressure which could not be handled easily.

On the other hand, Chindia finished very well last season although they did not reached the play off. The team does not have very skilled players but they are playing good as a unit and i expect that this homogenity to represent an advantage in front of a newly promoted team that will need time to adapt to the rythm of first league.

It is the debut of the season and things are tricky but i consider Rapid with the second chance here.

    Stromsgodset – Stabaek   over 3.5   2.20

In the last minute of the regular time, the team of Hokon Vibe Lund lost the opportunity to leave Stavanger victorious, as they take a draw 1:1 from Viking. Their appearance, however, was mediocre but managed to surprise the hosts by taking the lead in the 13th minute. From that one, they played conservatively, to keep the score. They are on 11th place in the standings with 13 points in 11 matches, 3 more than the barrage line, having one matchless. Stabaek had no match last week, with their last match dating back to July 4, when they hosted Sandefjord, from which they lost 0:2. They remained at 6 points in 10 matches and are leveled with Brann in the last position of the standings. Today, they will have a new coach Eirik Kjønø, who until recently was Johnson’s assistant. This is an extremely important match for both teams because Stromsgodset wants to get out to the middle of the standings, while Stabaek with the new coach will give their best to end their series of 7 matches without a win. Expect an open and efficient match on both sides.
